Delivery
Six (6) to Eight (8) working weeks from receipt of deposit (Depending upon number of orders in a given month please ask at the point of ordering).
Site Inspections
Site inspections are welcome, should you wish to view product and work standards.
Product Warranty
Steelspan Storage Systems International Pty Ltd warrants that all products will be free from any defect in material or workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of delivery. If any products are supplied to the purchaser suffer defects within the warranty period, Steelspan Storage Systems International Pty Ltd will undertake to repair or replace in part or in whole defective products such that the products shall be of merchantable quality.
Steelspan Storage Systems International Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any defect or damage caused to any product after delivery to the purchaser.
Consequential Loss
Steelspan Storage Systems International Pty Ltd shall not be under any liability and will take no responsibility to the customer in respect of loss of profits, anticipated savings, wasted expenditure, corruption or destruction of data, goodwill or any type of special, indirect or consequential loss which may be suffered or incurred or which may arise directly or indirectly in respect of the supply of products and/or services herein or the failure or omission by Steelspan Storage Systems International Pty Ltd to comply with this quotation.
Concrete floor finishing
If you are intending on having a high finish concrete floor in your warehouse area where the mezzanine is being located, such as a painted finish or concrete polishing, please have this done after the installation of the mezzanine. As mezzanine installation requires the moving around and handling of large and heavy structural steel items if the floor has been done prior to the installation of the mezzanine all care will be taken but we cannot guarantee no marking of the floor.
Cancellations
Due to the heavy engineering specialisation and detailed work requirements of the ordered products, cancellation of orders after five (5) days from initial purchase will be subject to a twenty-five per cent (25%) penalty.
On-Site Delays
Steelspan Storage Systems International Pty Ltd reserves the right to invoice additional charges, at a proportionate rate, for any lost time (in excess of the first half hour) after arrival on site, where our service/installation crew is unable to undertake its work for reasons beyond our control (eg area not cleared or forklift unavailable etc).
Certification
Certification of structural adequacy will be made available on completion of works and supplied as per our terms and conditions.
Client Responsibilities
A site clear of all obstructions, including other trades.
Access to 240V AC power outlets (maximum distance 50 meters).
Adequate lighting.
Normal site services such as toilets, washing facilities and first aid, are made available.
That all work be carried out within normal weekday working hours. Overtime or weekend work will be charged as an extra at the appropriate rate.
That any new material required, other than what has been specified, would be charged as an extra.
That security of all equipment, once delivered, to be arranged by the purchaser.
There are no allowances made for any external approvals.
Evaluation of existing concrete floor and concrete all load capacities.
Hot Works permit and Isolation of Smoke detectors and Fire alarms as and if required.
A forklift truck made available for movement of products. Option to hire forklift on checkout with delivery options.
Disposal of Rubbish (Building materials offcuts).
Earthquake seismic factor is not incorporated into our static calculations.

Acceptance of this quotation/tax invoice automatically constitutes acceptance of Steelspan Storage Systems Terms and Conditions available at www.steelspan.com.au
Shipping and Installation: Items are supplied unassembled unless assembly and installation is selected at checkout.
For palletised orders, where onsite forklift is not available, delivery is to kerbside only.
An authorised signatory needs to be at the delivery address to sign for and collect the goods, and that photo identification may be requested.
Discarding of pallet and packaging is the responsibility of the receiver.
Additional charges may apply in the following circumstances: where orders are redirected to an alternative address, where redelivery is required, where street or property access is limited. Some larger items may incur a ‘bulky or heavy item’ delivery charge. If our freight costs are substantially higher, we will contact you within 2 business days to discuss an additional delivery charge.
A full refund will be issued if you choose not to accept the additional charge. Assembly and Installation includes free-standing shelving, cabinet and Module products only. Unless otherwise stated floor and wall fixing is not included. Contact us for pricing on installation and fixing of products requiring floor and wall fixing.
Whilst every care will be taken when delivering and installing our products, liability will not be accepted for accidental damage to property.
Returns: A restocking fee and associated return shipping costs may be incurred where the goods are rejected without due cause.
